Bulk Image Renamer: How to use
Match product photos to a SKU CSV, preview safe filenames and export a ZIP with a mapping report.
- Choose one or more supported images.
- Export your spreadsheet as UTF-8 CSV with filename and sku headers. Keep SKUs as text to preserve leading zeros.
- Process, inspect the result and download.
Use case and output checks
Map photo-01.jpg to SKU 00123 using a UTF-8 CSV. Keep the SKU column as text so spreadsheet software does not remove its leading zeros. Preview the proposed filenames and check duplicate outputs before exporting the ZIP and mapping report. Renaming copies bytes; it does not recompress or upload images to Shopify.
Supported files and limits
JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, GIF
Renaming preserves the original bytes and extension. CSV mappings must match every selected filename; duplicate output names are blocked.
Troubleshooting
Include the original extension and check spelling and spaces. Every selected image needs a matching filename row when a mapping is used. Duplicate generated names are blocked rather than silently replacing another output.
